Hey! I'm Mairi

I'm a digital designer, a social media manager, and all things visual communication. I have seven years of design experience creating logos, posters, flyers, pamphlets, websites, and social media graphics. Just over a year ago, I started creating content and managing social media for an award-winning local bakery and cafe. This is the job I've loved most because I'm involved in everything that we do, from being a barista to knowing our local artists in town. Sometimes, I'll take on design projects for locals, which is also very fun because not only do I get to dabble in different areas of design, but I get to work with my clients face to face. I really want to get more experience being involved with a community while also being a designer and communicator. It's important to me that there is empathy between myself and who I'm working with, that we're both working from a place of passion, learning more about each other, because that brings people closer together. The world needs more of this.
